Concept
This scheme was designed to divert water from a frequently flooded highway into the adjacent greenspace. The idea behind the project is to demonstrate how nature-based solutions have multiple benefits including addressing issues of surface water flooding.
The greenspace was transformed into a wildlife haven with a channel planted with wildflowers, boardwalk, circular footpath and tree planting.
