Concept:
The Life and Hope Garden was designed to create a number of zones around the church for use by the whole community.
Elements include a garden of prayer and reflection, a working kitchen garden, a place for recreation and play and a large gathering space, along with renewed access and parking. An outdoor terrace will be created for a proposed ground floor cafe.
Two courtyards at the southern aspect of the church, provide additional seating areas, creating welcoming spaces close to the entrance gates and main church entranceway. Both courtyards feature rain garden planting, collecting rainwater from existing downpipes.
The SuDs car park has already been implemented and the remaining proposals are currently in for planning.
